Going to put Torina's app through tonight or something. 'Cause now I've got 20 pretty icons of Alyson Hannigan to use and I really need to stop being lazy.
I love riding the 8:00am/8:05am bus from the park and ride. That particular driver gives a little welcome when we get downtown and then announces the stops himself rather than use the automatic announcements that Metro has. And some mornings he'll do a little Elvis impression.

Never let it be said I didn't leave myself open to being crit'd. Constructive crit is always welcome, please be as detailed as possible.
I SWORE to myself I'd never EVER reply to a post on ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) roleplaysecrets as it's mostly useless wank, drama, and circlejerk. But then I saw a secret today about a character with TB (well, playing characters with an illness for attenshun) and I had to look at the comments in reply to that one (after quickly brushing up on the disease to make sure I was rightfully feeling confused).
Today, I discovered Chipolte. ASDFJKL; Subway has competition for my favorite bang-for-buck fast food near school. $6 for the biggest, fattest, tastiest burrito I've had in a long time? Yes please. Next time I'll cough up more for their fresh-made guacamole. 'Cause I love guacamole. Sure, I could have pocketed that $6 and gone home for some left-over chinese takeout, but as it was the last day of assessment lab, I felt entitled to a treat (didn't hurt I wanted to hang out with the girls from my lab a bit longer).
Also, this is really sad. Oldest medical school in the state and they're being forced to lay off employees to keep from going bankrupt post-Ike. UTMB is one of the three Trauma 1 hospitals in Houston. $600 million is a rather ugly number, but I would think that getting that hospital back up and running ASAP would be rather important.

Hello eleventh page (ten when I first commented). Sure, I spend less than five minutes on it a day, but I still think it's ugly as sin and that the previous layout was perfectly FINE. At the moment, there's 30+ pages of "this is ugly get rid of it." Much as I dislike it, the new profile page will likely stay, just because LJ is stupid like that.
Let's talk numbers for a moment. LJ has 15+ million accounts. Not all of them represent actual persons (I myself have almost 50 accounts, not all of them in current use >>;). But that's still a DAMN LOT OF PEOPLE (as a majority of the users probably only have one account). The 1500+ comments to the lj_design post aren't even 1% of the population. Even if the comments are maxed out at the new 10,000... it's not 1%.
Ergo, we're stuck with the fug.
Enough about that. Now to the really important stuff.

Congrats to Mr. Obama. It'll be interesting to see what him and Congress do over the next four years.
I know I'm holding my breath in vain hoping people will act like mature adults over the outcome of the election, whether whom they voted for won or lost. Pretty much all of my flist is, but that's one reason why you're on there.
At least I have a bag of chocolate bonbons. And I'm planning to bake strawberry cupcakes tomorrow. YUM~
Note to self: Burn some of that stuff off your computer! You need to torrent the last several episodes of D.Gray-Man and you need to grab Static Shock while the torrent is still up. Also, stop poking at that Terrymuse. Idiot.

Quick note~
As I have to be up at 5am so I can be at the hospital for my OR clinical at 6am, if you see me still on tonight at 11pm (CST) scold me and refuse to do anything with me.
Also, I love Subway's meatball subs. Best $5 I've spent all week.
